Client Overview:

Songwriting and performing allow an artist the opportunity to connect with people: to challenge lives, comfort hearts, and share joy. This has been the platform of Scott Kemper as a songwriter and a performer.

Scott grew up in Abilene, Texas where he first began playing guitar, writing songs, and performing for others. Moving to Lynchburg, Virginia he attended Liberty University and followed his passion for the arts with a degree in music. While at Liberty he toured with the band Light, recorded and released his first album Oceans Roar, and toured summer 2005 alongside artist Meredith Andrews. From Liberty, Scott moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and accepted the position of Worship Leader at Origins Church. There he worked alongside Pastor Scotty Neal to build the worship and media arts initiative from the ground up by recruiting and training musicians, planning the weekly set list, and wearing multiple hats to ensure the worship experience was offered with excellence. Scott has connected with thousands of people by sharing his music in a variety of formats. He now extends this reach with his 2008 summer release Run. The album was recorded by renowned producer John Mark Painter, who has worked with artists such as: Ben Folds, Sixpence None the Richer, DC Talk and Bethany Dillon. Run is a pop acoustic album exploring the hurts of defeat and the greatness of victory filtered through a Christ-centered view.
